Junior Class in Chino Hills
Where kids find their voice.
The Junior Class is where most of KMAC's story happens. Students ages 7-13 train in traditional Kuk Sool Hapkido, a comprehensive Korean martial art focused on self-defense, throws, joint locks, and strikes.
What we actually teach: Most parents come to us asking for confidence and discipline. What we work on is communication: helping kids find the words, the eye contact, and the presence to advocate for themselves in the classroom, on the field, and at home. Martial arts is the vehicle. The outcome is a kid who knows how to carry themselves.
Coaching matters: Every junior student is coached by Master Alex Quenneville, a 5th Degree Black Belt with 15+ years teaching this age group, alongside our black belt instructors, two of whom are World Hapkido Champions.
Belt progression: 11 levels through black belt, measured through skill achievement stripes. Testing is available every 3-6 months at $40 and includes a new belt and certificate. All color belt promotions are recognized by the World Kido Federation.
